Tektronix AFG3021 Arbitrary Function Generator

Featured with Sweep and Burst capabilities, the AFG3021 is a 1 Channel, 1 MHz to 25 MHz Arbitrary Function Generator from Tektronix. The AFG3021 can provide 12 waveforms: Square, Sine, Pulse, Ramp, Sin(x)/x, Lorentz, Gaussian, DC, Exponential Decay, Exponential Rise, and Haversine. This model can also provide arbitrary waveforms as defined by the user. With this instrument, the user can create, generate, edit, and store their custom waveforms quickly. In addition, the Run Modulation menus of this Function Generator enable the user to create modulated waveforms.

 The Tektronix AFG3021 has a context-sensitive help system that can be accessed any time and on any menu page through the help button. When inexperienced users or students use the instrument, they can utilize an optional fuse adaptor to the output connectors. This fuse adaptor can prevent damages to the instrument because of any accidental application of large AC or DC voltage to the input or output connectors. The AFG3021 allows the user to set high level and low-level limit values to ensure the integrity of the device under test. This instrument comes equipped with a standard USB interface. Thus, a simple USB cable can be used to connect the instrument to a Windows-based PC.

The Tektronix AFG3021 can also be connected to a network since it has an integrated Ethernet port. In addition, there is a GPIB port as well that can be used for programming and remote-control applications. This Function Generator features a comprehensive front panel strategically divided into various functional areas.
