The Tektronix AWG5012 is a 1.2 GS/s, Dual Channel, Arbitrary Waveform Generator with great integrity and signal dynamic range. It features a 14 bits DA converter, four digital synchronized market outputs, and up to 28 digital data output channels. With this model, the user will find it easy to solve some of the toughest measurement challenges in digital consumer product design like data conversion, imaging devices, and wireless baseband I/Q communications.

This model can generate 1 to 16,000 waveforms with a sequence length of 1 to 4,000 steps. It offers to 65,536 or infinite sequence repeat counter and 16M standard Record Length. The Tektronix AWG5012 is a Windows XP based instrument with open Windows, which makes it a convenient and easy to use instrument capable of connecting with third-party software and peripherals easily. It features a 10.4-inch color LCD with a touchscreen, built-in DVD slot, removable HDD, LAN Port, and six standard USB 2.0 Ports.

For 1 MHz signal, its SFDR performance is 80 dBc, whereas this model has 64 dBc for 10 MHz signals.
