Tektronix AWG5012C Arbitrary Waveform Generator
The Tektronix AWG5012C is a powerful Arbitrary Waveform Generator known for its versatility. It comes with a sample rate of 10 MS/s to 1.2 GS/s, 14 bit resolution, 300 MHz Sin (x)/x roll-off at -1 dB and 520 MHz at -3 dB. This model can operate with 540 MHz (typical maximum) effective frequency output and 1.8 ns (typical) effective frequency switching time. As far as the modulation bandwidth is concerned, the AWG5012C can offer up to 130 MHz in normal mode, whereas it provides 180 MHz in direct mode.
This model features a single ended SMB output connector and up to 28 total outputs with 14-bit output on each channel, while operating at 50 Ω output impedance. The Tektronix AWG5012C can be operated in five modes, which are: Continuous, Triggered, Gated, Jump, and Sequence. The sampling clock is featured with 8 digits of resolution and can provide within ± (1 ppm + Aging) accuracy. In addition to this, the internal trigger generator on this model is designed to work with 3 digits resolution, within a range of 1.0 µs to 10.0 s.
The Tektronix AWG5012C can handle a waveform length of 1 to 16,200,000 points with 1 point granularity. The sequence length offers 1 to 8,000 steps and can be operated in either Synchronous or Asynchronous jump timing. This model features an 8.28 in X 6.22 inch display. This model also has standard LAN ports and GPIB for data transfer and other communications with peripheral devices.
