Featured with 600.00 MSa/sec Sampling Rate, 4 Channels, 16 Mpoint Record Length (per channel), and 14-Bits Resolution the Tektronix AWG5014B is a powerful Arbitrary Waveform Generator. This model comes from the AWG5000B series by Tektronix and has a clear advantage over its competitors, since it meets the needs of today’s engineers working in communications and consumer electronics industries. This model features a 14 bits DA converter, 28-digital data output channels, and can provide an output voltage range of 20 mV to 4.5 Vp-p while operating in normal mode, and 20 mV to 0.6 Vp-p in the direct mode.

The Tektronix AWG5014B can easily be upgraded up to 32 M in terms of record length for applications where the generation of more extended data streams becomes inevitable. This model supports (MIMO) the Multiple Input Multiple Output System that supports W-LAN /Wi-Max – a leading edge technology for faster data communication. The Tektronix AWG5014B also features PAM (pulse amplitude-modulation). A 9PAM signal increases the data rate by four without affecting the transition rate of the signal. Thus, the AWG5014B enables the user to generate various multilevel or mixed signals.

This model comes with a GPIB and a standard Ethernet port as well. It can easily be controlled over the LAN. For comfortable data sharing, the user can employ a conventional USB drive, since the AWG5014B has an integrated computer with multiple standard USB 2.0 ports. In addition to this, the instrument can also receive waveform data from other Tektronix instruments directly.
