Tektronix MDO4054-3 Oscilloscope

Featured with four 500 MHz analog channels, 16 digital channels, and one 3 GHz RF channel, the MDO4054-3 is a Mixed Domain Oscilloscope by Tektronix. This model features offers 2.5 GS/s sample rate and 20M record length per channel. The Tektronix MDO4054-3 provides time-correlated acquisition for RF, digital, and analog signals in a single instrument and can assist the user with debugging, verifying and characterizing electronic designs.

 For frequency domain measurements, this MDO comes with a dedicated RF input channel, whereas four analog and sixteen digital channels are provided for time domain measurements.  The operating voltage and line frequency range for this model is 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz and 115 V at 400 Hz, whereas it consumes 224 watts of power while operating in its standard configuration. The Tektronix MDO4054-3 is offered as a standalone instrument and weighs around 5.0 kg. This Oscilloscope supports the TekVPI probe interface for passive probes.

To secure the instrument to the user’s location, they can utilize a standard security lock that is commonly used with laptop computers. The front panel on this MDO comes with various controls and buttons for the functions that are used in routines. Moreover, separate portions of the screen are dedicated for time domain and frequency domain displays. The front panel also has a 10-digit keypad that can be used for manual entries. The USB 2.0 host ports incorporated can be used to connect external peripherals to the instrument, such as a printer, a flash drive, or a keyboard. Two such ports are provided on the rear panel of the MDO4054-3.
