Tektronix TBS1064 Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The TBS1064 Digital Storage Oscilloscope designed by Tektronix has a bandwidth of 60 MHz, four channels, a sample rate of 1.0 GS/s on every channel, and a record length of 2.5k points at every time base. The Tektronix TBS1064 has 16 automatic measurements, FFT analysis, built-in context-sensitive help, a probe check wizard, autoset and signal auto-ranging, and built-in waveform limit testing.

One of the great features of the TBS1064 is that it gives the user real-time sampling on every channel to precisely capture signals. Sampling performance is not hindered while utilizing more than one channel. This model also has different options for saving data. There is a USB host port located on the front panel, which allows the user to record screenshots, instrument settings, and waveform data. There is a built-in Data Logging feature that enables the oscilloscope to record customized triggered waveforms to a USB memory device for as long as 24 hours. An “Infinite” option is available as well for ongoing waveform monitoring. Infinite mode allows triggered waveforms to be recorded without a time restraint, until the memory device is filled.

Another feature of the Tektronix TBS1064 Digital Storage Oscilloscope is that it can easily be connected to a PC through the OpenChoice PC Communications Software, by using the USB device port on the back panel. Screen images and waveform results can be transferred into the desktop application or into Microsoft Excel and Word. The user can also choose to print images directly to any PictBridge-compatible printer.
