The Tektronix TDS2012C is an affordable and compact Digital Storage Oscilloscope designed to provide the user with all the standard features. This model features 2 Channels and 100 MHz bandwidth, along with a 2.0 GS/s on each channel. It can handle 300 VRMS maximum input voltage and 1 MΩ input impedance (in parallel with 20 pF). The Tektronix TDS2012C supports AC, DC, and GND input couplings and offers 2 mV to 5 V/div vertical sensitivity. Since it is a 2 channel model, it can be triggered via Ch1, Ch2, AC Line, Ext, and Ext/5 as well. Apart from other valuable features, this model comes with a capability to provide a frequency readout against the trigger source.
The Tektronix TDS2012C Digital Storage Oscilloscope can acquire data on Peak Detect, Sample, Single Sequence, and Roll Mode. The roll mode is a unique feature that can be used at the time base acquisition setting of >100 ms/div. This model has a wide range of automated measurements for a variety of parameters including, but not limited to: Min, Max, RMS, Cycle, Cursor RMS, etc.
This digital storage oscilloscope features all the essential math operators and FFT as well. These advanced math capabilities in conjunction with the automatic measurements can help the user in speeding up their analysis. The sixteen automated measurements this model includes can reliably and quickly calculate import signal characteristics, such as rise time or frequency. In addition to this, the built-in Limit Test Function gives the user a higher chance of spotting troubles in their signal easily.
