Tektronix TDS5034B Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope

The Tektronix TDS5034B is a 4-Channel, 350 MHz analog bandwidth Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope capable of acquiring samples at a rate of 5 GS/s, 2.5 GS/s and 1.25 GS/s on 1,2 and 3 channels respectively. It can operate at 250 GS/s maximum Equivalent Time Sample Rate. With standard memory, the Tektronix TDS5034B offers 8M/4M/2M maximum record length per channel.

This oscilloscope comes with a comprehensive range of triggering modes including Video, Edge, Runt, Pattern, etc. and 1.5 μs to 12 s Trigger Holdoff Range. The Tektronix TDS5034B includes 53 automatic waveform measurements; eight can be displayed on-screen at once. For combined waveform measurements, the user can select desired parameters from Burst Width, Phase, Area, and Cycle Area. It also supports all the typical time-related waveform measurements including Positive / Negative Duty Cycle, Positive / Negative Width, Rise / Fall Time, etc.

This Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope can trigger on reject glitches of negative, positive, or either polarity as well. With 200 ps resolution, the minimum glitch width it can capture is 1.0 ns. Another great feature this model offers is Runt Trigger Mode - the capability to trigger on a pulse that exceeds one threshold, but fails to exceed another limit before exceeding the first again.

The Tektronix TDS5034B features a 10.4" active matrix color LCD set to operate at 640 horizontal × 480 vertical pixels display resolution. In later models from the TDS5000B series, touchscreen is offered as a standard feature, whereas it can be added to the TDS5034B on an optional basis.
