The Tektronix TDS5104B is the biggest one from the TDS5000B series as it’s the only 1 GHz bandwidth model from this family. Apart from other unique features, this model comes with a touchscreen and brings a smooth controlling experience for users.  With this model, samples can be acquired at an impressive rate of 5 Gs/s at all channels simultaneously at 15 ppm timebase accuracy. It supports all three, AC, DC and GND input coupling types. This model is ideal for complex applications including electro-mechanical, bio-medical, manufacturing, digital design, and debugging, etc.

The Tektronix TDS5104B Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope and other models from this series offer industry’s first customizable oscilloscope user interface. This model comes equipped with a MyScope Control Windows feature, which allows you to assemble your control windows with your desired controls, capabilities, and features. In this way, the user will be able to pull all the functionality needed, from various parts of the instrument into one virtual control window.

The Tektronix TDS5104B is loaded with other smart features as well. It can generate reports, send e-mail notifications, and it also comes with a broad suite of right mouse click menus. The TDS5104B comes with open access to the MS Windows 2000 platform. In this arrangement, your instrument will remain operating as an oscilloscope, and in parallel, you will get a chance to maintain your labs concurrently. In fact, the Tektronix TDS5104B includes an MS Windows-based integrated computer with 80 GB capacity, 2.0 GHz. For additional networking, this unit can be connected to a network because it has a standard LAN port.
