Tektronix TDS8000B Digital Sampling Oscilloscope

The Tektronix TDS8000B is a Digital Sampling Oscilloscope equipped with digital signal processors (DSP) for each channel. This model has 70 GHz Bandwidth, eight channels, and offers the broadest range of waveform processing and on-board measurements. It can acquire samples at 150 Ksamples/sec per channel.

The TDS8000B comes equipped with ekVISA TM, a software feature which allows the oscilloscope to be placed and operated under the control of applications like Visual Basic, LabWindows, Microsoft Excel, C, LabView, etc. without any involvement of a GPIB hardware interface. As far as its display features are concerned, this model has a 10.4", 24 bits, touchscreen display with dot, horizontal bar, and vertical bar cursors.

For waveform processing, the Tektronix TDS8000B offers up to eight math functions: Multiply, Device, Add, Subtract, Differentiate, Integrate, Root, Min, Max, Log, Natural Log, and Average. This oscilloscope can also be employed for amplitude measurements like RMS, Cycle Mean, and Optical Modulation.  This instrument can perform with DC to 4 GHz trigger sensitivity at 50 mV and provides a comprehensive range of trigger sources including: External direct trigger, internal clock trigger, Clock recovery triggers, etc.

The Tektronix TDS8000B Digital Sampling Oscilloscope features a 200 kHz maximum trigger rate and record lengths from 20 to 4000 samples. Two magnification views independent of the central timebase can also be acquired with different timebase settings. This model supports a broad range of optical and electrical plug-in modules. The flexible structure of the oscilloscope lets the user choose the configuration for future applications as well.
