Tektronix TLA602 Logic Analyzer

The Tektronix TLA602 is a Portable Logic Analyzer featured with 100 MHZ State, 64K Depth, 2 GHz Timing, and 68 Channels. It generates Color Output and requires an external display by means of a Female DB15 SVGA connector provided at the rear end. The TLA602 is a constituent of affordable and entry-level logic analyzers series called TLA600. It is an ideal option for general purpose state/timing analysis.  The TLA602’s capability of triggering on setup/hold violations and glitches makes it an ideal choice for the tracing of correlating hard to pin down hardware defects.

 This Logic Analyzer is equipped with MagniVu™ Acquisition Technology, which provides 2 GHz Timing Resolution, making it capable of finding complicated problems quickly. The Tektronix TLA602 does not requires double probing and acquisition to pinpoint tenuous hardware related issues because it supports 500 MHz Deep Timing Analysis, with up to 2 Mb / Channel. This model also offers up to 200 MHz state acquisition analysis of digital synchronous circuits.

The Tektronix TLA602 comes with four external instrumentation interfaces, which are system trigger input, external signal output, external signal input, and system trigger output. The system trigger input forces a system trigger and triggers all modules, whereas the external signal input can be used to provide an external system to trigger or arm all modules or a single one.

 The TLA602 supports Open MS Windows 2000 professional PC Platform, which makes it easy to network into the design environment. For its communication with other devices, it comes equipped with a standard RJ-45 (LAN Port), a Female DB25 (Parallel Interface Port), and a Male DB9 (Serial Interface Port).
