Tektronix TLA614 Logic Analyzer

The Tektronix TLA614 is a 136-Channel Logic Analyzer with 64 K depth, 100 MHz State, and 2 GHz timing. It is compatible with P6417, P6418, and P6434 Probes.  The TLA614 offers solid, state acquisition characteristics like 400/200 Mb/s State Data Rate, 1 Mb State Memory Depth with Timestamps, 2.0 ns typical Setup-and-hold window, and 5 ns Active Clock Edge Separation. With this logic analyzer, channels demultiplexation is possible to other channels employing a user interface with 8-channels granularity.

As far as the Timing Acquisition Characteristics are concerned, the Tektronix TLA614 has a sophisticated profile as well. It offers 2 ns, 4 ns to 50 ms Deep Timing Resolution (with Glitch Storage Enabled), ≤1 ns typical Channel-to-Channel Skew and 2 Kb per channel MagniVu Timing Memory Depth. The Tektronix TLA614 is more advanced than its counterparts from the TLA60X series because it comes with an integrated display. However, for additional advantages, an external display can also be connected, since this instrument provides support for simultaneous display through internal and external display devices.

The Tektronix TLA614 logic analyzer has many useful functions for digital hardware design and identification. This instrument comes with multiple front panel knobs and a mini QWERTY keypad – features that make it easy to operate. Unlike other low-cost logic analyzers, the TLA614 is designed to support Processors and Buses as well. It has almost every necessary extension port available on its rear panel, including a USB port and a Serial port which can be used by the user for accessing TLA614 by employing their windows based personal computers.
